About the role
You'll lead frontend for the 555 marketing site, the diner web app, and the merchant POS web companion. You'll work directly with the founders and have outsized impact on what tens of thousands of customers see every day.
What you'll do
- Architect and build performant, beautiful interfaces in Next.js 16 and React 19
- Partner with design to translate Figma into pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible components
- Own Core Web Vitals and the page-speed budget
- Mentor more junior engineers as the team grows
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of production experience in React and modern frontend frameworks
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS
- A track record of shipping fast, accessible interfaces
- Bonus: NFC, fintech, or POS background
